Stock Clerk

Job Summary We are looking for a full time Stock Clerk to join our retail team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing stock levels, organizing merchandise, and ensuring the sales floor is well-stocked and inviting for customers. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, and enjoys working in a dynamic environment. Your efforts will directly contribute to a smooth shopping experience and the overall success of our store. This is a full time position with 35-40 hours working weekends and evenings. Responsibilities Receive, unload, and check incoming stock shipments for accuracy and quality. Organize and replenish merchandise on shelves, displays, and storage areas to maintain an attractive shopping environment. Use equipment such as forklifts (if certified) to move heavy or bulky items safely and efficiently. Assist customers with locating products and answer questions about merchandise or store policies. Maintain cleanliness of the stockroom and sales floor, including sweeping, dusting, and organizing storage areas. Support cashiering duties when needed by handling transactions accurately and courteously. Collaborate with team members to ensure proper merchandising standards and inventory levels are maintained. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or stock management is preferred but not required. Ability to operate a forklift safely (certification is a plus). Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Basic knowledge of merchandising, cleaning, maintenance, and cash handling procedures.
