Sr. Procurement Specialist

Title: Sr. Procurement Specialist Location: Alameda, CA Duration: 12 Months Shifts: 8am - 4pm 100% Onsite Description The Senior Procurement Specialist is responsible for supporting procurement and sourcing activities, managing purchase orders, supplier relationships, and cost-saving initiatives. This role works closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure timely procurement of goods and services while maintaining quality, compliance, and cost objectives. Key Responsibilities Manage purchase orders (POs) and procurement processes. Support supplier selection, onboarding, and relationship management. Lead or assist with RFPs, RFQs, and sourcing projects. Resolve procurement, invoicing, and supplier-related issues. Analyze spending and identify cost-saving opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve procurement efficiency. Track supplier performance and support KPI management. Assist in contract negotiations and purchasing strategies. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or related field. 4+ years of procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain experience. Knowledge of supplier management, sourcing, and spend analysis. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with project management and stakeholder collaboration preferred.
