Job Summary:

 

The Senior Manager, Supply Chain, will lead end-to-end supply planning, developing and managing supply plans across internal and external manufacturing partners. This role drives the S&OP process, translates demand forecasts into executable plans, mitigates risks, and implements scalable supply chain models to ensure consistent performance in planning, fulfillment, and inventory.

Essential Functions:

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead the monthly supply planning cycle, encompassing demand planning, supply planning, inventory control, and order management, in alignment with overall supply chain strategy.
  • Translate demand forecasts into executable supply plans using ERP and advanced planning tools; ensure timely and effective communication with internal manufacturing sites and external suppliers.
  • Maintain accuracy and governance of planning tools and master data, ensuring they are updated and validated on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Play a key role in the S&OP process, driving alignment between supply and demand and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to communicate risks, constraints, and opportunities.
  • Own inventory management and control, proactively monitoring inventory levels, flagging risks related to stockouts, excess inventory, or supplier performance, and ensuring compliance with GMP and GDP standards.
  • Generate and analyze weekly and monthly MIS, including supply chain KPIs and performance metrics, and recommend mitigation strategies for identified risks.
  • Manage external supply chain partners, including third-party manufacturers, logistics providers, and distribution centers, to ensure delivery coordination, service levels, and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Procurement, and Sales & Marketing to align supply chain activities, resolve issues, and support business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality requirements specific to the pharmaceutical industry.

 

 

Specialized Skills and Knowledge:            

 

  • 8+ years of supply chain experience covering demand planning, supply planning, and order management, preferably within generic pharmaceuticals.
  • Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel and ERP/SAP proficiency for forecasting, modeling, and performance analysis.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency required, including:
    • Complex formulas (e.g., INDEX/MATCH, XLOOKUP, nested IFs)
  1. Pivot tables and pivot charts for multi-dimensional analysis
  2. Scenario modeling and what-if analysis
  3. Data cleansing and validation across large datasets 
  4. Experience building planning and performance dashboards in Excel.
  • Solid understanding of supply chain principles including MRP, MPS, and inventory management.
  • Knowledge of GMP, GDP, and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements.
  • Effective collaborator and communicator with strong problem-solving, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, regulated environment with high attention to detail.

Compensation and Benefits


Compensation:


This is a Salaried role with a pay range of $130,000 - $155,000


In addition, this position is eligible for an annual bonus which aligns to both individual and company performance.
