Sr Buyer

Multi-Billion-Dollar Manufacturing Company located on the SE side of Greenville South Carolina is looking for a Sr Buyer. JOB DUTIES Lead the purchasing, supplier management, and cost control activities to meet operational and customer requirements. Work with suppliers and commodities and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure material availability, quality standards, and cost objectives are achieved. Effectively identify, resolve, and escalate complex issues to maintain continuity and efficiency across the supply chain. Maintain and administer schedule agreements and supplier contracts under manager guidance. Monitor supplier performance and participate in corrective action and improvement efforts. Support cost management initiatives, including price maintenance and cost‑reduction activities. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree 5+ years of purchasing, supply chain, or procurement experience required. Experience working in a plant manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of purchasing, supplier management, and supply chain fundamentals. Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred). Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing concepts preferred.
