Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Truck Driver role based in Chatham, ON. The Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating company trucks to transport goods to and from customer locations, following assigned routes and schedules. Day-to-day tasks include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, loading and unloading freight as required, and securing cargo to prevent damage. The driver will maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation in accordance with company policies and DOT regulations, communicate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status, and adhere to all safety and traffic rules. The role also involves keeping the vehicle clean and in good working condition, promptly reporting any maintenance or safety issues. Qualifications Valid CDL Class A license and demonstrated experience in Truck Driving. Experience with safe operation of a Truck, including pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Ability to perform Unloading tasks safely and efficiently, including handling freight and securing loads. Working knowledge of DOT Regulations and commitment to full regulatory compliance. Clean driving record and strong safety awareness. Ability to lift and move moderate to heavy loads as part of loading/unloading duties. Good time-management skills and reliability in meeting delivery schedules. Professional communication skills for interacting with dispatchers, customers, and team members. Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends as required. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
