Sprinter Van Delivery Driver: AM or PM Shift, Mon–Fri, Corona, CA

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Sprinter Van Delivery Driver, working either the morning or afternoon shift from Monday through Friday in Corona, CA. This energetic role offers an exciting opportunity to be the vital link between our company and our valued customers by ensuring timely, safe, and professional delivery of goods. As a key player in our logistics operation, you will utilize your driving expertise and customer service skills to provide an exceptional delivery experience while adhering to all safety and traffic regulations. This position is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy hands-on work involving manual handling and warehouse operations. How you'll start You'll start with paid ride-alongs with me. I'll show you the van, the routes, how we treat customers, and how I want loads secured. How many days that takes depends on you. Once you're ready, you go solo. The van 2025 High-roof Sprinter Van. You pick it up and drop it off at our Corona location every shift. What you'll haul Lumber, HVAC units, pallets, paint, building materials, and home improvement store orders. Items run 50–100 lbs. A dolly is in the van, but you'll still be lifting. Where you'll drive Southern California: LA, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, Ventura, Kern, and San Luis Obispo counties. Responsibilities Safely operate a Sprinter van or similar vehicle to deliver packages efficiently along designated routes Load and unload items using manual handling techniques, ensuring proper weight distribution and safe lifting practices Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in optimal condition and safe to operate. Keep the van clean, inside and out Load, strap, and secure every load so nothing shifts or gets damaged Fix small problems yourself. If an address is wrong, call the contact, get the right one, keep moving. Treat every customer like they're the reason we have work, because they are Follow route directions precisely, adhering to traffic laws and safety standards at all times Provide excellent customer service by delivering packages with professionalism, courtesy, and a positive attitude Use mobile devices or delivery apps to track deliveries, update statuses, and communicate with dispatch as needed Assist with warehouse operations when required, including material handling equipment operation such as pallet jacks or carts for moving goods within the warehouse or loading areas Skills Proven experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations involving heavy lifting and manual handling Valid driver’s license with driving experience; familiarity with box trucks or commercial vehicles is a plus Strong knowledge of safe lifting practices and weight handling in the workplace Smartphone, and comfortable with GPS and delivery apps Common sense and staying calm when the day gets busy Experience with route driving, adhering to traffic regulations, and managing time effectively on delivery schedules Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and material handling tools Ability to work independently while maintaining high safety standards and attention to detail This job is NOT for you if… You rush and break things You need someone telling you what to do every step of the day You're "usually" on time This role offers an energetic environment where your driving skills will directly impact customer satisfaction.
