Job Summary As a Sprinter van / Cargo van owner operator, you’ll use your vehicle and driving skills to move shipments safely and deliver them to customers or business locations. You’ll handle route planning, loading and unloading, and clear delivery updates while providing dependable customer service. This role suits an independent driver who values safety, careful handling, and reliable communication. Responsibilities Drive a Sprinter van or cargo van on assigned local or regional routes; follow traffic regulations and applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements. Load and unload shipments, use a pallet jack or other material handling equipment when appropriate, and apply safe lifting practices when moving heavy items. Confirm shipment details, track routes, and update delivery status using mobile devices. Provide courteous customer service and complete deliveries accurately and on schedule. Your impact: Safe, dependable deliveries help customers receive their shipments in good condition and on time. Skills Required: Valid driving qualifications for the assigned vehicle, safe driving habits, and ability to lift and handle workplace loads. Preferred: Delivery driver, courier, van driver, commercial driving, commercial truck driving, or personal vehicle delivery experience. Warehouse experience, warehouse operations, manual handling, moving, and load-and-unload experience are helpful. Familiarity with box trucks, route driving, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment is an advantage. Customer service skills; comfort using mobile devices; knowledge of manual transmission and DOT regulations are preferred.
