Spotter Truck Driver

Primary Duties & Responsibilities undefined Driving a spotter and attached trailers between buildings on campus, as well as parking trailers in trailer lot Complete safety inspections on each trailer that is moved and each truck that is driven Put seals on finished goods trailers and color code according to appropriate shift Produce movement log sheet for each trailer movement, including the following information: trailer number, pick up location, drop location, STO number, and time Keep truck cab clean and safe at all times Adjust regular schedule to successfully complete high-priority jobs in a timely manner Receive general work direction from shift supervisor Effectively communicate with all other employees both face-to-face and using assigned work radios Adhere to all company policies and procedures including values, safety, attendance and standard operating procedure Deliver on the job training to new coworkers Develop, implement and comply will all continuous improvement initiatives Must understand and demonstrate safe work practices at all times to ensure a safe work environment Other special projects as requested Education and Experience Profile High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience. One to two years of previous work related experience. CDL Class A Driver License. Required Skills Basic understanding of tools and mechanical aptitude High level of organizational skills.
