Specialty Retail Store Manager: The Pickle Factory, Jacksonville (Our Original Store) Location: 5913 St. Augustine Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32207 Job Type: Full-time, salaried Pay: Range based on experience Reports To: The District Manager Schedule: About 40 hours per week, including weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings Before You Apply: This is NOT an entry-level, assistant, or shift lead role. Applications without verifiable retail store management experience will not be considered. This is a senior leadership role. To be considered, you must have: 3+ years as a Store Manager in retail, with full responsibility for a store's day-to-day sales, staff and operations A track record of hitting sales goals. Be ready to share real numbers from stores you've managed. Hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management experience with a team of hourly associates Inventory management experience, including receiving, counts and audits, and visual presentation of store merchandise. We're looking for a proven, enthusiastic retail leader to take care of that legacy, build a strong team, and grow the store's future. The Role : As Store Manager, you'll lead every part of the store: the team, the sales floor, the numbers, and the experience. You'll set high standards for service and presentation, coach a team that loves what we make and sell, and work with our Marketing team on events and promotions that bring the community in. The role combines leadership, hands-on management, and community engagement in a fast-paced specialty retail setting. Leadership & Team Help recruit, hire, train, and mentor a team passionate about great service Build schedules that match store traffic and labor and financial goals Hold regular performance check-ins and reviews, and develop future leaders Set the tone on the floor every day by leading by example Sales & Performance Own the store's sales goals and key metrics, including conversion, average transaction value (ATV), and units per transaction (UPT) Track performance, spot trends, and act on them Prepare daily and weekly reports with clear plans to improve results Store Experience & Events Keep the store clean, welcoming, and well organized, with attractive, fully stocked shelves and displays Carry out visual merchandising and seasonal displays that drive sales Plan and run in-store events with our Marketing team Handle customer questions, feedback, and escalations with care Operations, Inventory & eCommerce Manage inventory: receiving, counts, audits, reordering, and shrink control Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and store security Oversee online order packing and shipping to make sure every order is accurate and high quality Partner with Marketing to feature seasonal and best-selling products What Sets You Apart A leadership style that's both high-standards and people-first Comfort with numbers, reports, and using data to make decisions Strong communication and organization, and the ability to juggle priorities calmly A real enthusiasm for food, health, and fermentation (bonus if you've worked in specialty food, grocery, or a local/independent brand) Experience with eCommerce fulfillment or event coordination is a plus Physical Requirements Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable in a busy retail environment with occasional extended hours for events What We Offer The chance to lead our original, legacy store Growth and professional development opportunities in an expanding, community-focused brand Health, dental, and vision insurance Life and disability insurance 401(k) with employer match Paid time off Employee discounts and fermented food perks How to…
