About the Role We are hiring for two positions: one full-time and one part-time. These positions are part of our Fulfillment Team, which handles everything from tinting and mixing to packing and shipping each order. Team members also provide occasional support in our retail store. This work is distinct from a typical warehouse or pick-and-pack job. Every order we produce, whether shipped nationwide or purchased in our store, is prepared and inspected by hand. The Specialty Paint Maker & Fulfillment Team Member is responsible for tinting limewash with mineral pigments, mixing paint to precise formulas, producing the sample materials customers rely on to select their colors, and packaging each order to exacting standards. This role is well suited to someone who values craftsmanship, precision, and consistency. Responsibilities Product Preparation Tint limewash with dry mineral pigments, measuring precisely to ensure color consistency from batch to batch Tint specialty paints using liquid suspension tints Mix paint products across a range of container sizes Sample Materials Hand-paint limewash and natural paint sample cards that accurately represent color and texture Maintain consistent quality across all sample materials, which directly inform customer purchasing decisions Order Fulfillment Package e-commerce orders with a high degree of accuracy, verifying product, color, and quantity Ensure every order is properly sealed and protected for shipment Perform quality checks on all orders prior to shipping Retail and Operations Assist customers in our retail store and process sales through our POS system Maintain a clean, organized workspace in accordance with best practices for handling pigments and paint Collaborate effectively with a small team You Will Thrive in This Role If You Notice small inconsistencies and correct them before moving forward Take pride in careful, hands-on work and value accuracy as much as speed Find satisfaction in seeing a task through from start to finish Enjoy working in a small team where each person's contribution is visible Qualifications Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Positive, professional attitude Paint store experience preferred Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding, hands-on role. Candidates must be able to: Lift and carry up to 50 lbs without assistance, including paint containers up to 3.5 gallons, repeatedly throughout the day Stand and move for the full shift Bend, reach, and work with pigments, tints, and paint, which can be messy Work in a shop environment that may be warm, cold, or dusty depending on the season Schedule Full-time: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Part-time: Three days per week, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Compensation and Benefits $17.00 – $20.00 per hour Paid 30-minute lunch break Full-time: Health, dental, and vision insurance available after 30 days of continuous employment Full-time and Part-time: Paid time off after one year of continuous employment Location This is an in-person position in Olathe, KS 66062.
