See more at www.brppharma.com Role Summary: This role supports the Industrial Engineering function across quality, compliance, operations, and Engineering systems work. The intern will report and work directly with the Industrial Engineer as a project partner on data analysis, documentation, process mapping, reporting, and lean initiatives. Key Responsibilities: · Collect and analyze operational data, and turn it into clear summaries · Support documentation: investigations, CAPA, SOPs, work instructions, and quality records · Build reports and visuals for operations · Support KPI development for productivity tracking · Support design of labor management frameworks · Support demand planning strategy development Initiatives: · You will work alongside the IE as a project partner on each of the following along with other projects: · 5S: audit and establish 5S standards across warehouse and work areas · Value Stream Mapping: map current-state processes, identify waste, propose future state · Standard Work / SOPs: observe and document standard work for key operations · Time Studies: collect cycle time data to establish baselines and support improvement decisions · Kaizen Events: support focused improvement events and track action item closure · Visual Management: design and implement visual controls, boards, and floor-level indicators Documentation, Direction & Accountability: · Follows established SOPs, company policies, approved workflows, and reasonable management direction applicable to assigned responsibilities. · Executes assigned priorities and directives as communicated by management and seek clarification when expectations, instructions, or authority are unclear. · Obtains appropriate management direction or authorization before deviating from established procedures, assigned priorities, workflows, or management-directed processes when approval is required. · Communicates concerns, obstacles, proposed changes, or recommended alternative approaches to management before implementation rather than independently modifying established processes or priorities without appropriate authorization. · Exercises appropriate judgment and promptly escalates matters involving potential safety, quality, legal, regulatory, or compliance concerns. · Maintains accurate and timely documentation as required by applicable procedures, systems, and regulatory requirements. · Accepts coaching and constructive feedback professionally and demonstrates accountability through appropriate follow-through and sustained improvement. What You Contribute · Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in a relevant field. · Strong project management skills with the ability to organize priorities, manage timelines, track deliverables, and follow projects through to completion. · Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint; experience with CRM, ERP, and/or project management systems preferred.…
