Southbound Dispatcher and CSR - Refrigerated Freight
BMT Refrigerados SA de CVSouthbound Dispatcher – Refrigerated Freight Refrigerated freight experience is required. Applications without reefer experience will not be considered. Purpose of the role Keep our reefers loaded and rolling south. You'll cover SB freight for our trucks coming out of the U.S., keep deadhead to a minimum, and run every load door-to-door across the border — from pickup to the final drop in Mexico, on time and in temp. Key responsibilities Cover SB freight — work the load boards (DAT, Truckstop, broker and shipper contacts) to book southbound reefer loads, negotiate rates, and line up the next load before the truck empties. Know your drivers' clocks — stay on top of HOS, available hours, location, and ETA so every truck is planned and nobody runs out of hours on a hot load. Dispatch clean — give drivers everything they need before they roll: PU and delivery addresses, appointment times, PU#, product, setpoint, pulp temp requirements, and any shipper/receiver rules. Confirm they understand it. Get paperwork out fast — send PU numbers, BOLs, rate cons, and crossing documents to drivers and the customs broker on time so trucks don't sit at the shipper or the bridge. Live in the TMS — every dispatch, check call, status update, and document goes in the TMS, in real time. Keep customers in the loop — send ETA updates without being asked and call out delays early, not after the appointment is missed. Track every load to the drop — follow the truck through pickup, border crossing, and transit to final destination; jump on breakdowns, reefer alarms, temp deviations, or delays right away so the load delivers safe and on time. Requirements 3+ years in refrigerated trucking operations — reefer dispatch, not dry van only. Legally authorized to work in the U.S. Hands-on experience running door-to-door freight between the U.S. and Mexico, including border crossing coordination with customs brokers. Proven at booking loads off the boards and negotiating rates. Solid on HOS rules, reefer setpoints, pulp temps, and cold-chain handling. Comfortable working in a TMS and ELD/tracking platforms all day. Bilingual English–Spanish — you'll talk to drivers, brokers, and customers on both sides. Calm under pressure, organized, and relentless about follow-up. Pay: $1,200.00 per week Work Location: In person
