Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Employee needs to be trained at the ARIMS Superuser level.
  • Create configuration in ARIMS for new customers and select which SFL system(s) customer will use
  • Knowledge of how the different SFL systems work and how to install and maintain them.  These systems are SmartBin Classic, SmartBin Flex, SmartLabel, and Bosscode.
  • Complete change requests in ARIMS configuration for usage, location, customer part number, Bossard article number, price, weight, and adds/deletes.  These may be from inside salespeople at Bossard or directly from the customer contacts.
  • Perform Logistic Checks on the customer’s ARIMS configurations for recommended changes to usage, ROP, and ROQ.  This should be done at least annually for each SFL customer.
  • Print labels if needed for changes mentioned in the proper office location or print locally and mail/ship to location they are needed.
  • Check accounts in your region for errors in the ARIMS software and available reports within.  Notify responsible Bossard personnel of errors and assist with correction when needed. 
  • Train Bossard employees on the ARIMS software web-based system.  This would include how to export reports, view errors and address what needs to be corrected, entering change requests
  • Train customers on ARIMS software, this includes different data screens, reports, and possibly interactive (change requests).
  • Create pick lists for SFL equipment and arrange shipments for customer setups
  • Co-ordinate new SFL equipment installations at customers with Market Managers and sales.  This will include creating the configuration in ARIMS and shipping the necessary equipment to the customer.  Also, estimating the number and type (SFL knowledge) of people needed for the installation and estimated duration.
  • Supervise SFL Installations at customers
  • Provide support and at times create and present sales presentations on the SFL systems and how they can be used at customers.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience

A degree in Business or Supply Chain Management or comparable experience

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write reports & business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, employees of the organization, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate and percent. Ability to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram from. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

 

Computer/System Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have Intermediate knowledge of:

  • Microsoft Suites (Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • Outlook
  • Company Specific Programs

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Current valid driver’s license
  • Current valid passport may be needed

Travel Requirements

Must be able to travel approximately 35% of the time throughout North America and possibly annual overseas meetings.

The work conditions are that of a normal office setting for the approximately 65% of the time when the person is not traveling and in the office.  The noise level in the work environment can range from quiet to moderate most of the time with some loud environments on occasion.  While at customer installations the noise level can vary depending on the manufacturing environment and use of hearing safety equipment (ear plugs) may be necessary.
