Spirit Event ProductionBack Shop / Small Warehouse Associate (Shop Tech) RPM Lights Inc. – Etobicoke, On RPM is a rental supplier of lighting equipment to Film & TV productions, and live events. We require a warehouse associate to help pack/unpack customer orders, load/unload trucks, maintain/service lighting fixtures, and do some deliveries. Health & dental benefits, training provided. _ The ideal candidate will have a minimum 2 years of experience in setting up lights for film and live events. _ Job Description: · Report to the Shop Manager, assist with all shop operations. · Process orders and returns and maintain equipment flows as it relates to incoming and outgoing gear, including prep and de prep, and demos, using the Flex Inventory Management system. · Ensure that outgoing orders are complete and properly packaged and marked. · Receive returning orders ensuring all equipment is returned, check for damage. · Fulfill all lighting/rigging sub-rentals as they pertain to active quotes or jobs. · Maintain and update Flex Inventory Management system as needed. · Maintain cleanliness and order of the warehouse including trash removal, floor cleaning and common area cleanliness. · Assess damage of returned products, relay damages to the Shop Manager. · Assist with the cleaning, testing, maintenance, and repair process of rental equipment. · Report missing equipment to Shop Manager. · Ensure that health and safety procedures are followed and identify and report variances to the Shop Manager. · Adhere to standard operating policies and procedures, including proper handling of paperwork and documentation. · Deliver exceptional customer service to clients on the phone, through electronic communications and in person. · Communicate and present in a professional, respectful, appropriate and efficient manner. · Competently deal with challenging situations such as customer complaints professionally. · Experience in operating a forklift is an asset, training is available. Other · Full time Mon-Fri 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. · One hour unpaid lunch break. · Weekends and extended hours occasionally required · Overtime at a rate of 1.5 hourly will be paid for hours worked in excess of 44 hours per week. · Training will be provided for, and paid for, by the company. · Some travel may be required.
