SIOP Analyst
Enpro Inc.497426 Longview, Texas, United States STEMCO Supply Chain Full-Time/Regular Join Enpro/STEMCO as a SIOP Analyst and help shape the future of our supply chain by uniting rigorous demand and supply analytics with hands-on ownership of master planning, scheduling, and the automation that powers them. This is a hybrid “analyst-plus-architect” role that sits between a traditional SIOP Analyst and a SIOP Systems Architect. You will run the analytical heartbeat of the Longview SIOP process—demand, supply, and inventory balancing—while also designing the digital workflows, models, and AI-assisted tools that convert planning into automated, repeatable execution. You will translate firm demand into build schedules, drive OTIF performance, and continuously engineer the reporting and automation backbone that keeps sales, operations, and finance aligned. What You’ll Do SIOP & Demand/Supply Planning Support SIOP process excellence for the STEMCO Longview facility, supporting the monthly cadence of meetings and facilitating the plant level SIOP reviews. Coordinate accurate, timely monthly and weekly statistical demand forecasts by market segment, ensuring the right quantities of the right products are planned and supply is effectively allocated. Orchestrate alignment between commercial and operations to balance supply and demand while minimizing working capital, and collaborate with finance to maintain budget guidance. Perform regular root-cause analyses on forecast error, shortages, and allocation risk, and drive corrective actions; continuously improve forecasting accuracy, techniques, and best practices. Ensure approved SIOP plans are entered into the ERP system and simplify complex data into clear, concise insights understandable to all audiences. Planning & Scheduling Identify current planned demand, create tactical production plans, and calculate production lead times; manage load leveling, bottleneck scheduling, and Theory of Constraints (TOC) for more accurate scheduling. Analyze production floor status through input/output control reporting and reconcile scheduling requirements against weekly production output to ensure accuracy. Support capacity management across MRP and production activity control—evaluate work-center load, determine available capacity before releasing planned orders, and recommend capacity adjustments with Manufacturing. Assemble schedule reporting on key KPIs—OTIF to the customer and internal OTIF to the production plan—and communicate demand changes across the facility. Systems, Automation & Architecture Design, build, and maintain the digital backbone of planning—exception reports, dashboards, and automated workflows—that convert master-planning and SIOP outputs into repeatable, low-touch execution. Develop and iterate automations and AI-assisted tools (e.g., Power Automate, Power BI, Copilot Studio, ERP/NetSuite enhancement) to reduce manual effort in scheduling, allocation, and reporting. Architect data integrity by identifying and correcting root-cause issues through sustainable, systematized business practices and documented SOPs. Partner with IT and manufacturing-systems stakeholders to translate planning logic into scalable, well-governed tools, and support as a subject-matter expert bridging planning and technology. Inventory, Reporting & Collaboration Communicate inventory stocking strategy with management, support product life cycle planning, and support slow-moving/obsolete part evaluation and scrap decisions. Maintain and develop reports and departmental performance metrics for analysis and distribution to staff and leadership. Work closely with warehouse, logistics, and manufacturing teams on inventory-related projects and actively participate in cross-functional meetings.
