We are seeking a dedicated Showroom Sales & Operations Specialist who thrives in an active, hands-on retail environment. In this dual-focus role, you will connect directly with clients to assist with high-end area rug selection while actively assisting with physical inventory management and showroom merchandising. Core Responsibilities Active Merchandising & Physical Handling: Move, lift, roll, unfold, and stack heavy area rugs and carpets for customer presentations and display maintenance. Client Engagement & Sales: Deliver a warm greeting to every visiting client, guide them through product offerings, answer style/material questions, and close sales. Showroom Presentation: Maintain an pristine, visually attractive, and well-organized sales floor and showroom layout. Fulfillment & Pickup Prep: Safely fold, roll, and package rug orders to prepare them for delivery or direct client pickup. Qualifications & Qualifications Prior background in showroom sales, customer service, or fast-paced warehouse/inventory handling ( experience in home decor, flooring, or rug retail is a big advantage ). Physically fit and comfortable routinely lifting 50+ lbs and engaging in active, physical labor throughout the day. Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills with a customer-centric attitude. High reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
