Shop Mechanic - Forklift

Job description About us: We are a large privately-owned material handling company that has been established since 1977. We are the official dealer for two large forklift brands. Over the last five years we have seen unprecedented growth of our business. We are looking for motivated individuals who want to be, or already are, forklift technicians to support our loyal customer base. Who We Are Looking for: If you’re looking for a career change or you’re simply interested in working on forklifts - electric, propane or diesel - we want to hear from you! If you have the experience, we have immediate opportunities in our Shop ! We expect minimal training will be required for you. If you do not have the experience, no worries - if you have the mechanical background and skills, we will train you to ensure you are prepared. We are also looking for those who have strong electrical knowledge, complimented with great mechanical abilities, or any other relevant field involving automotive or heavy equipment repair who we could train to join our team as a Forklift Technician in our Shop. Regular work week Monday to Friday 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM Requirements Candidates with ANY of the following licenses or relevant experience: Lift truck Truck and coach Heavy equipment Automotive Millwrights Positive attitude Professionalism Drive for self-improvement What we offer Higher than industry standard wages based on experience.
