Warehouse Lead Requirements/Qualifications
• Previous warehouse and forklift experience required.
• Ability to operate a stand-up forklift.
• Must maintain certification on all forklifts used

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematics, including addition, subtraction, and division.
• Ability to accurately measure and pull customer orders.
• Ability to communicate effectively using a two-way radio.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to bend, twist, turn, squat, stoop, stretch, and reach overhead.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment, including wrapping machines.
• Strong leadership, communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Ability to hear forklift horns and backup alarms.
About the Warehouse Lead Role
As a Warehouse Lead, your responsibilities will include:
• Operate forklifts to pull, stack, and organize pallets of merchandise.
• Direct daily priorities established by warehouse management to help meet department production goals.
• Communicate daily goals and quality expectations to employees.
• Report department issues and production progress to management.
• Train new employees on shipping and order-pulling procedures.
• Ensure employees follow safe warehouse and material-handling procedures.
• Accurately pull customer orders using a stand-up forklift and pick sheets.
• Record changes or missing products on pick sheets.
• Build pallets and prepare shipments according to company procedures and customer specifications.
• Communicate missing products or out-of-stock items to the Receiving Clerk or management.
• Complete daily forklift preventative maintenance inspections.
• Report forklift mechanical or safety concerns to management.
• Lead by example through respect, cooperation, teamwork, and professionalism.
