Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Description of work and responsibilities Receive and inspect material; verify quantities, identification, packaging condition and delivery documents. Validate and retain key supporting documents; record receipts and acceptance status in Navy ERP. Maintain order and shipment files; research delayed deliveries and support transportation, supply and quality discrepancy reports. Prepare shipment documentation, including DD Form 1149; coordinate pickup, provide shipment status and help resolve misrouted material. Assist with packaging, labeling, loading, inventory and disposal documentation, including matching material to turn-in records. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Ability to perform the duties above and use applicable Government systems, SOPs and records controls. 1+ years of experience in a shipping and receiving role Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 pounds Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Forklift certification a plus Experience with inventory management software Knowledge of shipping regulations and requirements Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment Additional Requirements Must possess an active SECRET security clearance COMPANY OVERVIEW DEL REY Systems & Technology, Inc.
