Shipping & Receiving Associate

Overview Join our dynamic logistics team as a Shipping & Receiving Associate, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods through efficient handling, accurate documentation, and seamless coordination. All roles are paid positions that contribute directly to our operational success. Duties Receive incoming shipments by inspecting, verifying quantities, and recording details using inventory management software and ERP systems such as AS400 or MRPs. Prepare outgoing shipments by picking orders with RF scanners and order pickers, packing items securely, and ensuring proper labeling according to trade compliance and international trade regulations. Operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, forklifts (certification preferred), and load & unload trucks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Conduct regular stock checks, organize warehouse distribution areas, and ensure proper stocking procedures are followed for optimal warehouse operations. Collaborate with team members to coordinate shipping logistics, manage order fulfillment timelines, and support overall warehouse distribution activities. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all warehouse operations, including packaging, order picking & packing, and shipment processing. Skills Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, trade compliance, and order fulfillment processes. Excellent data entry skills coupled with basic math abilities for accurate record keeping and inventory calculations. Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts (certified preferred), pallet jacks, RF scanners, and order pickers. Effective communication skills to provide outstanding customer service internally within the team and externally with carriers or vendors. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with warehouse operations including stocking, packaging, load & unload procedures, and order picking & packing.
