Shipping & Receiving Associate

Become a full-time ShippingReceiving Associate with Value Added Distributors and support the daily movement of inventory, shipments, and customer orders. As our ShippingReceiving Associate, you'll earn $17.00 per hour and enjoy a benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, paid vacation and holidays, and a 401(k) plan with employer match. This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with overtime available as needed. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS OUR SHIPPINGRECEIVING ASSOCIATE You will pick and pull customer orders, prepare shipping documents, coordinate shipments with carriers, receive incoming materials, and verify shipment accuracy. You'll maintain inventory records, perform cycle counts, inspect incoming products for damage, enter transactions into the ERP system, organize inventory locations, and communicate with purchasing and customer service teams as needed. You'll also operate a forklift after training, make local customer deliveries using a flatbed truck, and assist in other areas of the business through cross-training opportunities. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license and clean driving record 21+ years of age to drive company vehicles Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail, time management, and accuracy Ability to safely lift 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods of time Ability to use and read tape measures and digital calipers Ability to work independently and as part of a time Previous working knowledge of hydraulic components is a plus Experience in supply chain or logistics is a plus Forklift certified is a plus WHY CHOOSE US?
