Shipping/Receiving and Logistics Department Lead
Aend Industries.com*The start date for this position ideally is early November* Established in 2003, Aend Industries manufacturers high performance polyurethane wheels for skateboards, longboards, inline skates, quad skates, scooters, & wheelchairs. We have an opportunity at our new Hutto, Texas location for a Shipping/Receiving and Logistics Department Lead. This position is responsible for all aspects related to the shipping function including planning and coordination of shipments with shipping agents; preparing shipments for all customer orders; properly preparing all shipping documents for domestic and international shipments; and receiving all incoming shipments. Job duties to include: Work with planning team to properly plan daily and weekly shipping activity Ship scheduled production in a timely manner, completing shipping documentation accurately. Maintain proper shipping log. Work with customer service team to insure specific customer shipping instructions are followed. Work closely with Packaging Department to coordinate shipping priorities. Properly palletize orders for air and sea shipments. Maintain shipping supply inventory and order supplies as necessary. Maintain cleanliness in the shipping area. Receive shipments as needed Minimum requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. Forklift certified. 1 + years experience with domestic/international shipping. Experience using FedEx/UPS Ability to multi-task. Lifting up to 45lbs. Previous shipping experience in manufacturing environment, a plus. Bilingual English/Spanish, a plus.
