Shipping & Receiving Administrator
Saint Paul Commodities, IncAbout SPC Saint Paul Commodities (SPC) is the largest independent aggregator of waste fats and oils in the United States. We source, blend, and trade waste-derived feedstocks such as used cooking oil (UCO), tallow, and other animal fats and greases that flow into renewable diesel, sustainable aviation fuel, biodiesel, and biobased products. The Role Every load that comes into or leaves an SPC location must be documented, reconciled, and moved correctly through our system. The Shipping & Receiving Administrator owns that process across SPC's remote plants and transload facilities. You will be the single point of contact between those sites and the office for everything related to shipping and receiving inventory: entering data, finalizing purchase and sales pricing, managing paperwork, and catching and correcting inventory, receiving, and shipping errors. At SPC, you'll have the opportunity to learn the business from the inside out, work directly with people across different functions, and see how the details of shipping and receiving connect to the bigger picture of a commodity trading business. You'll gain hands-on exposure beyond your core responsibilities, build relationships across the organization, and have room to grow your skills and take on new challenges as the business evolves. Review shipping and receiving logs daily for loads that did not arrive or ship as planned. Trace those shipments and keep the operations team informed. Finalize purchase pricing on receipts and support accounting with the information needed for supplier payment and customer invoicing. Communicate regularly with plant and transload personnel on updates, process changes, and open issues. Identify recurring errors and recommend process improvements that reduce rework.
