Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Seasonal Shipping Clerk to join our team during peak shipping periods. In this vital role, you will coordinate shipping logistics, manage inventory movement, and ensure accurate order fulfillment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our efficient warehouse operations while gaining valuable experience in logistics and supply chain management. What You'll Do Coordinate seed shipments and freight pickups Review orders for accuracy and inventory availability Prepare shipping documents, labels, bills of lading, and packing lists Communicate shipment updates and delivery information to customers Assist with freight quotes and transportation scheduling Process customer pickup orders Support invoicing and order completion Work closely with sales, warehouse, and customer service teams Assist with general office and administrative duties as needed What We're Looking For Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent attention to detail Comfortable using Microsoft Office and computer software systems Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Previous office, logistics, transportation, or customer service experience is preferred Why Join Albert Lea Seed House? Physical Demands Must be able to sit for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift 50 pounds without assistance and 50+ pounds with assistance.
