Shipping Clerk in Santa Ana, CA - $18.50 - $19.00/hr

Join Ocean Technology Systems in Santa Ana, CA! Job Summary: Maintain inventory for transport, monitor efficient loading and unloading of all stock. Administer order stock and monitor loading of all shipments. Ensure appropriate completion of all purchase orders and sales order for transaction. Perform regular inspection of stock items and report any defect to supervisor. Ensure compliance to company standards in storage of goods. Review all transactions and ensure compliance to FIFO. Evaluate inventory and perform physical count of stock to identify any discrepancy. Perform all activities for domestic and international shipping. Manage packaging and stocking of all shipping supplies. This is a temp to hire position (after 30 days as a temp you are eligible to be hired on directly) Primary Duties: Shipping Clerk monitors merchandise leaving the company warehouse and ensure all related documents, such as shipping documents, invoices, and purchase orders are in order. Shipping Clerk ensure products are properly packed and organized for safe shipment. Clerk ensures all haz mat shipments contain all proper labels for shipments. Lithium battery shipments contain the correct labels and correct UN#s on boxes. Process domestic and international shipments daily. Knowledge and Abilities 2 years of experience in warehousing and shipping area. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics.
