Predator Inc.Logistics Associate Predator Motorsports Inc. is the world leader in Hummer H1 Off-Road custom vehicle builds. We have two locations, one in California and one in Florida. Our Vista California Location is looking for a Full-Time Logistics Associate. ***** Please note that only applicants with Experience in Booking & Routing Shipments will be considered.**** Requirements: · Experience using Third Party Booking Software (I.E. UPS Worldship). · 2 years of Domestic Shipping Experience – Must include Preparing, Routing and Booking Small Parcel & L.T.L. We can train on International Shipping. · Strong understanding of N.M.F.C Code designation and Freight Classes · Excellent organizational, detail oriented and customer service skills. · QuickBooks knowledge desired. However, we will train the right person. · Must know how to build custom pallets using small hand tools including circular saws and drills. Job Duties include but are not limited to: · Prepares and is responsible for bills of lading, checks items to be shipped against work orders to ascertain that quantities, destination, and routing are correct. · Packing and or Palletizing Items to Ship · Receive and unload incoming materials and compare information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment; as well as process return shipments from customers. · Inspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel. · Delivers items to requisitioning departments. · May operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift in loading and unloading supplies and equipment; may operate shrink wrap machine; may assist in routine maintenance of equipment and shipping area. · Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental control standards. · May assemble products to ship out to customers. · Work with purchaser on manufactured products going to powder coat. Desired Skills and Abilities: · Forklift Certified **** Schedule will be Full Time Monday- Friday 8 AM - 5 PM*** Due to the nature of our business, we have adopted a STRICT DRUG FREE policy.
