Shipping Clerk

As a Shipping Clerk you will be processing and preparing all appropriate shipping documents, package labels and shipping labels for most of our outbound product. As a part of the warehouse team, you will need to be a go-between for both the team on the floor and other teams in the office. Responsibilities and Duties: · Process orders in an accurate and timely fashion · Work with warehouse associates and manager to address any issues with shipments · Use programs like Worldship, Macola, and Starship to create packing slips and product labels for shipments · Communicate with the warehouse manager on backorder strategies and shipment flow · Enter tracking numbers for LTL shipments · File and keep late ship orders organized · Printing BOLs when provided · Communicate with our sales and customer service teams on backorders and product inventory · Maintaining a clean and organized work area · Unloading shipment containers · Other warehouse duties as assigned, including picking, packing, and pallet wrapping Requirements: · High school diploma or GED · Worldship and Starship experience highly preferred · Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. · Must have the ability to stand, walk, and perform assigned tasks for extended periods · Experience operating equipment (sit-down and stand-up forklift) is a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Disability insurance Employee assistance program Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Shift availability: Day Shift (Required) Ability to Commute: Elmhurst, IL 60126 (Required) Work Location: In person
