We have an exceptional opportunity for a: Shipping Clerk Job Summary Seeking an individual who will be responsible for preparing outgoing shipments by verifying orders, packaging, and labeling items, and arranging transportation. Duties and Responsibilities Essential: · Order preparation: Verifying shipping orders against items, packing them correctly, and preparing shipping labels. · Documentation: Creating and processing shipping documents like bills of lading (BOLs), packing slips, and delivery receipts. · Inventory management: Tracking inventory for outgoing goods and restocking items as needed. · Logistics: Scheduling trucks for shipments, tracking their status, and communicating with carriers to ensure timely delivery. · Record keeping: Maintaining accurate shipping logs and other required paperwork. · Work area maintenance: Keeping the shipping area clean, organized, and stocked with supplies. Qualifications and experience: Experience in related field preferred.
