About the Role: The Shipping Clerk plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of outgoing shipments within a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for coordinating and executing the dispatch of products to meet customer and company requirements. The Shipping Clerk ensures all shipping documentation is accurate and complies with regulatory and company standards, facilitating smooth logistics operations. This position will also be responsible for memos and order entry. The role supports timely delivery and customer satisfaction. Ultimately, the Shipping Clerk contributes to the overall supply chain efficiency by maintaining organized shipping records, entering orders and memos correctly. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in shipping Basic computer skills to manage shipping documentation Customer Service experience Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with warehouse management software and shipping regulations. Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and external carriers. Responsibilities: Prepare orders for shipment according to company standards and customer specifications. Verify shipping documents, including bills of lading and packing lists, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Coordinate with warehouse and shipping teams to schedule and prioritize outgoing shipments. Maintain accurate records of shipments Assist in general duties such as memo entry and order entry.
