Shipping Clerk

Overview As a Shipping Clerk, you’ll keep warehouse operations moving by coordinating shipping and receiving, preparing orders, and maintaining accurate inventory records. You’ll use warehouse management systems and inventory management software to support order fulfillment, warehouse distribution, and shipping logistics. Your impact: Accurate, timely shipment processing helps customers receive the right orders and enables the warehouse team to plan and work efficiently. Responsibilities Process shipping and receiving paperwork. Pick, package, and ship orders; stock items and verify quantities using basic math. Load and unload shipments and operate equipment such as a forklift or pallet jack when trained and authorized. Coordinate with warehouse operations, carriers, and customer service teams to resolve order or delivery issues. Experience Warehouse experience in shipping and receiving, inventory management, order picking, and packing, or logistics is preferred. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, data entry, and inventory management software is helpful. Ability to perform accurate basic math and maintain clear, organized records. Forklift or pallet jack experience is preferred; equipment use must follow applicable training and safety requirements.
