Shipping Associate-1st Shift

Essential Duties and/or Responsibilities: Examine contents and compare with records to verify accuracy of outgoing shipment. Prepare documents, such as shipping orders to route materials. Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and recordkeeping purposes. Determine shipping method for materials using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates. Pack, seal, label, and affix postage to prepare materials for shipping using postage meter. Physical Demands: While performing the duties and responsibilities of this position, the employee is occasionally required to sit and use hands. H/she will frequently stand, walk, handle or touch and move from place to place. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
