Duties Receive incoming shipments by verifying quantities, inspecting for damages, and recording details using inventory management software and ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms. Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling orders accurately using order picker equipment, pallet jacks, and packaging materials. Load and unload trucks efficiently with forklifts or pallet jacks while adhering to safety protocols and trade compliance regulations. Maintain precise inventory records through data entry in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software to ensure stock accuracy. Coordinate with logistics teams to schedule shipments, track deliveries, and resolve any discrepancies or delays promptly. Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and audits to uphold inventory integrity within warehouse distribution operations. Provide excellent customer service by responding to internal requests for order status updates and assisting with international trade regulations when necessary. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse operations, shipping & receiving, or inventory management within a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP platforms like AS400 or MRP systems, and inventory management software. Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely; forklift certification is preferred. Strong basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for data entry, reporting, and communication purposes. Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail for maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with trade regulations. Demonstrated customer service skills to effectively communicate with team members and external partners.
