Shipping and Receiving Specialist

The job: You will fill and dispatch orders mostly overseas through our international warehouses. Some will go by sea and air freight from our Santa Cruz warehouse. You will also help track inventory and orders, some purchasing of stock and assist in managing overseas stock holdings / inventory. You will also help with quotes for overseas clients working with our own product database. PT. 20 hours a week. We have some flexibility for the right person. An ideal candidate will: - Have computer skills to track inventory and orders using excel, Google Docs, Shopify and related accounting software. - Must have good communication skills. You will need to work with clients by email occassionally. - Be neat and well organized, able to keep your workstation in proper order. Be willing to learn new tasks. - You MUST be meticulous and able to work without constant supervision. - Be willing to participate in other associated duties as necessary. - For a capable employee, we will promote. We generally start $19 per hour but will review quickly for the right person. This is a stable position in a drug-free environment in business for over a decade in Live Oak. You must have reliable transportation to get to the office in Live Oak and live locally. Please be ready to provide good references. We will run a back ground check on applicants we intend to interview. Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour Benefits: Paid time off Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Work Location: In person
