We're a small team where everyone pitches in, and careful work makes a real difference. About the role Our Receiving Administrator keeps product flowing into and out of our warehouse. You'll receive and inspect domestic and international shipments, record them accurately in our inventory system, keep stock organized, and help pick and ship customer orders. You'll work daily across our Shipping and Receiving operations and report to the Shipping Supervisor. What you'll do Receiving and inspection - Receive domestic and international shipments, including opening and breaking down overseas crates and clearing packaging and pallets - Inspect incoming product for count, size and quality, including laser measurement, and record heat stamps - Test product against engineering specifications when needed, and help our Engineering team with first-article inspections - Record receipts in our inventory system (Odoo), with inspection notes and photos of any issues - Work with Accounting on incoming product - Perform weekly cycle counts Stocking and inventory - Stock, restock and rotate product on store shelves and in the warehouse - Label overstock, scan labels and put product in its correct location Order picking and shipping - Pick customer orders each morning and throughout the day - Pull backordered items to fill store and customer orders, working with Shipping to get them out quickly - Cut, package and prepare tubing orders and LTL (freight) shipments for pickup Warehouse and team support - Keep the receiving area and warehouse clean, organized and safe: clear walkways, proper stacking, and prompt reporting of hazards or damaged equipment - Handle daily upkeep of the receiving area, including sweeping, trash and caring for the receiving computer cart - Lock up the building at the end of the day - Support other departments and take on projects as assigned What we're looking for - High school diploma or equivalent - Experience in receiving, warehouse or inventory work preferred - Comfortable using computers and inventory software; Odoo experience a plus - Strong attention to detail in inspecting, counting and documenting - Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand and move throughout an 8-hour shift - Forklift or pallet jack experience a plus - Reliable, and able to work independently and with other departments Pay $19.00 - $23.00 per hour Benefits - Medical, dental and vision insurance: Glacier Tanks pays 100% of the employee-only premium (Regence Blue Cross medical and vision; Principal dental).
