Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our logistics team. In this vital role, you will oversee the efficient processing of inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with all shipping regulations. Your proactive approach will help maintain seamless warehouse operations, support inventory management, and enhance customer satisfaction. Duties Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders using warehouse management systems Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling orders accurately in accordance with shipping & receiving protocols Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely to load and unload trucks efficiently Maintain detailed records of all transactions, including data entry into inventory management software and ERP systems Coordinate with logistics providers to arrange shipping logistics, schedule pickups, and ensure compliance with international trade regulations and trade compliance standards Manage inventory levels through stock counting, cycle counts, and updating inventory management software to prevent stock discrepancies Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock placement, replenishment, and order fulfillment processes Experience Proven experience in warehouse operations or logistics roles with a strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, ERP systems (such as AS400), and MRP systems Hands-on experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and order pickers in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills for calculating weights, measurements, and quantities accurately Excellent data entry skills combined with customer service orientation to assist internal teams and external partners effectively Knowledge of international trade regulations and trade compliance standards is preferred Prior experience in order fulfillment, stocking, packaging, and load & unload activities is highly desirable Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to excellence in logistics!
