About the Opportunity We are seeking a Shipping & Receiving Specialist to support the daily movement of incoming and outgoing products and materials. This is a hands-on warehouse position that plays an important role in ensuring shipments are received accurately, customer orders are prepared on time, and inventory records remain accurate. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This position combines physical warehouse responsibilities with computer-based receiving, shipping documentation, and inventory recordkeeping. What You'll Do As a Shipping & Receiving Specialist, you will help manage the day-to-day receiving and shipping process while maintaining accurate inventory and order documentation. You will: Receive, open, and inspect incoming shipments and verify products and quantities against purchase orders. Receive purchase orders in the company's ERP system and ensure inventory information is entered accurately and promptly. Prepare outgoing customer orders by printing packing slips, shipping labels, and other required documentation. Scan and maintain incoming packing slips and shipping documentation in company records. Organize and file sales orders and related documentation. Prepare packages and materials for outgoing shipment. Help ensure customer orders are processed accurately and shipped on time. Assist with monthly sales order audits, including identifying duplicate orders and flagging significantly overdue items. Participate in annual physical inventory counts and other inventory-control activities. Assist with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) processing and incoming product returns as needed. Perform light assembly or preparation of specialized products and components as needed to support customer orders. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and work area. Follow established safety, shipping, receiving, and inventory procedures. Assist with other warehouse and operational responsibilities as needed. What We're Looking For Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, inventory, fulfillment, or a related environment preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Basic computer skills and ability to learn ERP and inventory systems. Ability to accurately compare products, quantities, purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documentation. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Dependable and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Forklift experience or current forklift certification is a plus. Why Join Us? Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, and handling of products and packages. Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds . Ability to work in a warehouse environment that may include varying temperatures and noise levels. Frequent use of computers, scanners, printers, and other shipping/warehouse equipment.
