Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Job Overview As a Shipping and Receiving Specialist, you’ll keep warehouse operations moving by coordinating incoming and outgoing goods. This hands-on role also involves warehouse distribution, shipping logistics, and customer service. Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and record shipments; verify quantities and documentation, and flag discrepancies. Pick, pack, package, stock, and prepare orders for shipment; load and unload goods using equipment such as a forklift, and pallet jack. Use of basic hand and/or power tools to build and pack crates. Follow shipping and receiving procedures, as well as maintain a clean and organized work area. Experience Warehouse experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, shipping and receiving, or logistics is helpful. Basic woodworking skills a requirement Basic math, careful recordkeeping, and clear communication support accurate daily work. Ability to safely use or learn to use a forklift, pallet jack, and overhead hoist or crane and follow applicable equipment and safety procedures.
