Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our fast-paced warehouse team. Responsibilities Receive incoming shipments by verifying quantities and inspecting for damages using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) Prepare outgoing orders by picking, packing, and labeling products accurately according to order specifications Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load and unload trucks efficiently and safely Maintain organized stock by stocking shelves, managing inventory levels in the WMS, and conducting regular stock counts Ensure proper packaging of products for shipment to prevent damage during transit Use basic math skills to calculate weights, measurements, and quantities for order accuracy Keep detailed records of inbound and outbound shipments Support order fulfillment processes by picking orders with RF scanners and preparing them for dispatch in a timely manner Requirements Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in shipping & receiving operations Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory management and order processing Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy loads safely and operate equipment throughout shifts Knowledge of warehouse distribution practices including order picking & packing, load & unload procedures, and stock replenishment Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory control Willingness to learn new systems such as ERPs is essential Join us as a Shipping and Receiving Specialist where your skills will directly impact our ability to deliver exceptional service.
