Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to lead and coordinate all shipping and receiving activities within our manufacturing facility. This is a critical position responsible for ensuring raw materials, finished goods, documentation, and transportation activities are managed accurately and efficiently. What You'll Do Shipping & Logistics Coordination Coordinate all inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods. Prepare, verify, and maintain Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing slips, shipping manifests, and related documentation. Schedule and communicate with carriers, freight providers, and transportation partners. Track shipments and proactively resolve delivery issues, shortages, damages, or discrepancies. Ensure all shipping documentation complies with customer, company, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including import/export documentation when required. Receiving & Inventory Control Oversee receipt of raw materials, supplies, and other incoming shipments. Verify quantities, documentation, and product condition against purchase orders and packing slips. Investigate and document discrepancies, shortages, and damaged goods. Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle counts and inventory audits. Coordinate movement of materials throughout the facility to support production needs. ERP & Administrative Responsibilities Process transactions accurately within the ERP system. Maintain shipping, receiving, inventory, and freight records. Assist with implementation and transition activities related to a new ERP system. Generate reports and analyze data using Microsoft Excel. Ensure records are complete, organized, and audit-ready. Leadership & Process Improvement Serve as the primary point of contact for shipping and receiving operations. Provide direction and support to warehouse and logistics activities as needed. Identify opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and workflow processes. Help develop and maintain standards that support operational excellence. Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement. Safety & Compliance Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Participate in safety training and maintain a safe work environment. Ensure compliance with shipping, inventory, transportation, and import/export regulations. Support quality initiatives and documentation requirements. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Minimum 2+ years of experience in both shipping and receiving within a manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environment. Experience working with Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing slips, freight documents, and carrier coordination. Strong understanding of inventory control processes and warehouse operations. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience using ERP systems. Experience in importing and exporting Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
