Shipping and Receiving Clerk-Production Support

Here’s a few reasons to consider Kusel Equipment Co.: · $1,200 signing bonus · 1st Shift (6 AM - 2:30 PM) · Family Health Insurance · 401K · Paid Vacations and 11 paid holidays per year Job Summary Under the supervision of the production supervisor, the shipping/receiving Clerk boxes and crates finished product, coordinates outbound freight, receives and inspects inbound shipments, coordinates with freight and parcel companies, and provides accurate paperwork and documentation. Responsibilities: This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time. Build crates/boxes to prepare products to be shipped. Uses outside shipping portals to create shipping documents and order trucks. Manage incoming products from suppliers and verify accuracy against purchase orders. As trucks arrive for pickup, work with drivers to effectively load trucks. Communicate with supervisor for replenishing shipping consumables. Partner with manufacturing staff on assisting with inventory counts. Assist in picking parts from inventory for upcoming shop jobs. Contribute to good housekeeping standards by maintaining workstation. Ability and willingness to support manufacturing by operating equipment such as production saws, sand blast booth, shears, etc.... Skills High school diploma or equivalent Experience with picking, packing, and shipping processes. Ability to operate forklifts safely (certification preferred). Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation and paperwork. Proficient Computer Skills Ability to actively participate in metal manufacturing machine operations.
