Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Job description Covid Audio Visual, a Tempe based manufacturer of Connectivity Products, is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team and help ensure the smooth flow of goods in and out of our facility. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying order accuracy, preparing products for delivery, and maintaining organized inventory records. This role is key to ensuring our customers receive their orders on time and in excellent condition. Responsibilities: Receive and inspect incoming shipments for damage, accuracy, and proper documentation Verify packing slips, purchase orders, and invoices for incoming goods Report damaged goods, shipment discrepancies, or inventory issues promptly Unpack, log and properly route incoming materials to appropriate departments or storage areas Pick, prepare, pack, and label outgoing shipments according to order specifications and carrier requirements Generate shipping documents including bills of lading, shipping labels, and customs forms as needed Schedule pickups and coordinate with carriers (FedEx, UPS, LTL freight, etc.) Skills: 2-years’ shipping / receiving experience in a distribution environment. Advanced computer skills and familiarity with inventory software or ERP systems. Proficiency in the use of shipping software programs including programs such as FED-EX and UPS Worldwide Shipment Familiarity with shipping/receiving procedures and documentation. Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs of weight.
