Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 9am to 1pm (12 hours a week) Where: Our warehouse in East Vancouver, WA Start: As soon as possible About us Habituel makes research-based mushroom coffee and cocoa right here in Vancouver. We're small, independent, and founder-run. We started at the Vancouver farmers market in 2023 and now ship to customers all over the country. The job in one line You run our shipping. Every order that leaves Habituel goes through your hands, so it shows up right, looks good, and gets there on time. What you'll do Shipping (most of your shift) Pack online orders accurately: right product, right quantity, packed so it arrives in good shape. Get every package labeled and ready for the USPS pickup, then hand it off to the carrier. Receive incoming packages and supplier deliveries. Check what came in against what we ordered, let me know if anything is short or damaged, and put everything away where it belongs. Keeping things organized Keep your station clean, organized, and stocked so every shift starts smoothly. Help keep the warehouse organized so everything is easy to find. Keep an eye on shipping supplies (mailers, tape, boxes, stickers) and let me know when something is running low. When orders are done Some days orders wrap up early. For that time there's a short list of upkeep tasks, like building boxes ahead, topping up samples, and light cleaning. You pick what makes the most sense that day. Shipping always comes first. What we're looking for Detail-focused. You notice when the cocoa ended up where the coffee should be. Able to comfortably lift and move up to 50 lbs. Reliable on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings. Comfortable working on your own once you're trained. We'll show you everything. Shipping, warehouse, or stockroom experience is a plus, but not required. Pay: $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 12.0 – 15.0 per week Work Location: In person
