Position Overview We are seeking an organized and reliable Shipping and Receiving Clerk to help manage the flow of products through our warehouse. This role involves checking deliveries, preparing outgoing orders, monitoring inventory information, and keeping shipment documentation up to date. You will work alongside warehouse personnel and shipping partners to help ensure that daily operations run smoothly and accurately. Main Responsibilities Verify incoming shipments, inspect delivered items, record quantities, and report missing, damaged, or incorrect products. Prepare outgoing orders by selecting merchandise, packing materials, labeling packages, and arranging items for dispatch. Assist with storing products, organizing warehouse locations, and keeping inventory information current. Enter and maintain shipping, receiving, and stock details in warehouse software and inventory tracking systems. Communicate with carriers, coworkers, and other departments to help resolve delivery issues and shipment discrepancies. Follow company procedures for shipment documentation, safe material handling, and applicable shipping regulations. Skills and Experience Understanding of basic warehouse procedures, stock control, picking, packing, and shipment processing. Basic math skills and the ability to enter information accurately. Comfortable using computers and standard Microsoft Office applications. Familiarity with WMS, ERP, MRP, AS400, or other inventory management systems is an advantage. Knowledge of shipping logistics, warehouse distribution, e-commerce orders, or international shipping documentation is beneficial. Good communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
