Shipping & Receiving Clerk Job Overview We are looking for a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team in the pipe industry. This is an office-based position that plays an important role in keeping daily shipping and receiving operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and able to coordinate effectively with drivers, vendors, customers, and internal teams. Responsibilities Prepare and process shipping and receiving paperwork. Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and other documentation. Prepare bills of lading, shipping documents, labels, and related paperwork. Accurately enter and maintain shipment and inventory information. Track incoming and outgoing shipments and provide updates when needed. Coordinate pickups and deliveries with drivers, vendors, customers, and internal personnel. Maintain accurate and organized shipping and receiving records. Assist with resolving shipment, inventory, and documentation discrepancies. Provide general administrative support for daily operations. Qualifications & Requirements Must be bilingual in English and Spanish. Must have strong communication and customer service skills. Must be dependable, organized, and detail-oriented. Must be comfortable using computers and performing data entry. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook, is preferred. Previous shipping, receiving, logistics, dispatch, or administrative experience is preferred. Experience in the pipe, steel, manufacturing, construction, or industrial industry is a plus. Must be available to work weekends when needed. Must have a flexible schedule and be available for either day or night shifts. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Why Join Us?
