Shipping & Receiving Associate We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in accuracy, stays organized, and works well in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving and logging merchandise, reviewing paperwork for accuracy, preparing outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory records, and assisting with additional administrative and back-of-house responsibilities. Because we operate within the firearms industry, applicants must be willing to learn industry-specific procedures, retain important information, and follow established processes carefully. Prior firearm industry experience is helpful but not required. Primary Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and accurately log incoming merchandise Review shipping documents, invoices, and related paperwork for accuracy Scan, sort, stock, and organize incoming inventory Pull and package merchandise for outgoing orders Verify that outgoing shipments are complete and properly packaged Track inventory and maintain accurate records Distribute received merchandise to the appropriate departments Keep shipping, receiving, and storage areas clean and organized Communicate inventory discrepancies, damaged merchandise, or paperwork issues to management Assist the store manager with administrative and back-of-house duties Support the sales team during slower shipping and receiving periods Help identify and resolve shipping, inventory, and receiving issues Qualifications Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Dependable, punctual, and consistent Good written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and time-management skills Able to prioritize tasks and work with a sense of urgency Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Able to follow detailed procedures and retain new information Willing to learn about firearms, accessories, and industry processes Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and willingness to assist in other areas when needed Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and proactive. They notice small details, ask questions when something does not look right, and take responsibility for completing tasks correctly. We are looking for a problem solver who wants to learn, contribute to the team, and grow within the company.
