Shipper/Reciever/Labourer/Welder for Welding Shop

-load and unload delivery trucks using forklifts, overhead cranes, and misc -prepare materials/products (some heavy) for shipping in/out -organize inbound/outbound freight -perform deliveries/pickups to/from customers with flatdeck truck -welder helper such as clean, grind, bevel and prep metal surfaces using grinders, wire brushes, etc -assembly support – clamp, jig, hold components for welders and perform basic tack welding w/training -safely operate shop equipment -perform welding duties safely with accuracy -ensure all tolerances and specs are met in welding fabrication -demonstrate competency in GMAW, SMAW -operate shop equipment including overhead cranes, forklifts, power tools, cutters and fabrication equipment -able to read blueprints and technical drawings -cut, grind, bevel, align and assemble metal components -post weld cleanup -Forklift license preferred -clean driving record Benefits: Dental care Disability insurance Extended health care Life insurance On-site parking RRSP match Vision care Work Location: In person
