Graphiques White HouseSHIPPER / RECEIVER (DAY SHIFT) Print Field: Packaging (Folding Cartons) Reporting To: Production Operations Director Start Date: 1-3 weeks Location: Woodbridge (Hwy 427 / Hwy 7) Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (5 × 8-hour shifts – 40 hours per week) Position Summary White House Packaging & Design is seeking a skilled and dependable Shipper / Receiver. The Shipper / Receiver is responsible for safe and efficient receiving, storing, and shipping of raw materials and finished printed products. This role supports production by ensuring materials are available when needed and that customer orders are packed, documented, and shipped on time while maintaining quality and safety standards in accordance with customer specifications and company quality standards. The successful candidate will be mechanically inclined, quality-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while maintaining production demands and established safety, GMP, and SQF requirements. Key Responsibilities Receiving: Receive and inspect incoming raw materials such as paperboard, inks, coatings, dies, plates, packaging supplies, and all other incoming shipments. Verify shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and bills of lading. Record receipts in inventory or ERP systems and report shortages or damages. Ensure finished product is properly counted, stacked, bundled, packaged, identified, and transferred to the appropriate location. Shipping: Pick, pack, palletize, and wrap finished printed products (cartons, labels, inserts, sheets, etc.). Prepare shipping documentation including packing lists, labels, and bills of lading. Coordinate with carriers, couriers, and logistics providers for pickups and deliveries. Load and unload trucks safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material-handling equipment. Inventory, Warehouse Control, and Material handling: Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts and physical inventories. Ensure raw materials required for production are staged and ready for use. Rotate stock (FIFO/lot control) and track job numbers, SKUs, and customer specifications. Keep the warehouse/shipping/receiving areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Quality & Compliance Responsibilities Ensure jobs meet internal quality standards and customer requirements. Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for food safety, safety, and quality adherence Identify and isolate non-conforming product immediately. Participate in quality audits and corrective action processes as required. Operate all equipment in accordance with company safety procedures and manufacturer requirements. Follow all applicable WHMIS, PPE, lockout/tagout, machine guarding, and workplace safety requirements. Follow established GMP, HACCP, SQF, and food-packaging procedures applicable to the production area. Prevent contamination, foreign material, product mix-ups, and damage to customer product. Immediately report any food-safety, product-safety, quality, or equipment concern. Follow established procedures for handling rejected, quarantined, or non-conforming product. Communication & Collaboration Work effectively as part of the production team and maintain a positive, professional working environment. Communicate clearly with production and management teams Communicate job status, production issues, quality concerns, machine performance, and downtime promptly. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 1-3 years of shipping/receiving experience in a printing or manufacturing environment (MUST HAVE) Forklift certification (MUST HAVE) Basic computer skills: experience with inventory / ERP systems (MUST HAVE) Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time-management abilities.
