Position Summary The Shipping Clerk is responsible for ensuring medical devices and related products are accurately stored, picked, packed, and shipped according to company procedures and quality requirements. This role supports inventory control, shipping operations, warehouse organization, and compliance activities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, organized, and capable of balancing multiple priorities without sacrificing quality. Responsibilities Shipping & Logistics Prepare, verify, package, and process domestic and international customer shipments. Verify product quantities, lot numbers, labels, and shipment documentation before release. Ensure shipments meet customer specifications and company quality standards. Coordinate freight shipments and carrier pickups. Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation. Support urgent customer requests and priority shipments. Identify and resolve shipping discrepancies before products leave the facility. Help ensure on-time delivery performance and customer satisfaction. Inventory & Warehouse Operations Stock warehouse locations and maintain FIFO inventory rotation. Ensure materials and finished goods are properly identified and traceable. Maintain organized storage locations to support efficient material flow. Assist with inventory transactions, cycle counts, and warehouse improvement initiatives. Support general warehouse operations as needed. Quality & Compliance Follow all Quality Management System (QMS), SOP, and regulatory requirements. Maintain complete and accurate shipping, inventory, and warehouse records. Assist with inspections, verifications, and documentation reviews as required. Demonstrate a commitment to quality, compliance, and patient safety. Continuous Improvement Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready work environment. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, organization, safety, and accuracy. Proactively address issues and support operational excellence. Participate in special projects and additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED. Minimum 1 year of warehouse, shipping, logistics, or inventory experience. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical warehouse activities, including standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift. Preferred Experience in a medical device, healthcare, manufacturing, or regulated environment. Experience with ERP or inventory management systems. International shipping experience.
