Captain SportsShipping, Receiving & Warehouse Associate – Responsibilities and Duties Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices. Check received products for quantity, quality, damage, and discrepancies, and report issues to supervisors. Prepare, pick, pack, label, and stage customer orders accurately for shipment. Process shipping and receiving documentation, including bills of lading, packing slips, shipping labels, and inventory records. Organize and store products in designated warehouse locations while maintaining an efficient and organized work area. Perform inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock checks to maintain accurate inventory levels. Use warehouse management systems (WMS), scanners, or computer systems to record receiving, shipping, and inventory transactions. Ensure orders are properly packaged and secured to prevent damage during transportation. Follow all workplace health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and hazard-free warehouse environment. Assist with inventory replenishment, product movement, order fulfillment, and general warehouse activities. Maintain accurate records and ensure all products are stored and handled according to company procedures. Assist with loading and unloading deliveries while ensuring products are handled safely and efficiently. Prioritize daily shipping and receiving tasks to meet deadlines and maintain smooth warehouse operations. Work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with supervisors and coworkers. Perform general housekeeping and maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the warehouse. Follow company policies, procedures, and quality standards at all times.
