Shift Leader

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and motivated Shift Leader to join our dynamic retail team! Duties Supervise daily store activities, ensuring efficient operations during your shift. Lead and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales goals. Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities. Oversee cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) systems, and cashiering procedures with accuracy and integrity. Assist in recruiting, onboarding, training, and developing team members to enhance their skills and performance. Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a welcoming shopping environment. Support operational tasks such as purchasing, pricing strategies, budgeting, and store maintenance to meet company standards. Requirements Proven management or supervisory experience within the retail industry or similar fast-paced environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual capabilities are preferred. Experience with inventory management systems, POS systems, and basic bookkeeping or payroll processes. Demonstrated ability in sales management, retail math, merchandising, and operational oversight. Skilled in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, training & development practices. Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on time management and multitasking. Knowledge of retail industry sales techniques including pricing strategies and customer service excellence.
